Alan Wake, Castlevania, & PAC-MAN Hit the Xbox Backwards Compatibility List

The Xbox One backwards compatibility is by far one of the best features of the current generation. Countless number of Xbox 360¬† and Xbox Arcade games are becoming available to play via the Xbox One, and the list is only growing stronger. Three new additions have been added to the list of now available titles to play using the backwards compatibility feature. Three classics – one from the previous generation, and two from the golden era. PAC-MAN by Bandai Namco, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night by Konami, and Xbox 360’s bone-chilling horror title Alan Wake by Remedy Entertainment.

All three of these titles are nothing short of amazing in their own right. You can’t top the retro era with classics like PAC-MAN – who is unarguably one of the leading faces of video game culture. You also can’t get enough of classic Castlevania. Last but not least, Alan Wake is definitely underrated. It’s a cult classic to say the least – and players who have experienced the first are begging for a sequel. Remedy Entertainment is getting ready to release their current project, Quantum Break, globally, to the public ¬†soon. However, the team has stated that they have not erased the idea of a sequel for Alan Wake.

The backwards compatibility feature is something that makes the Xbox One worth having for hardcore Xbox players. I personally think it’s a great feature, as I just popped in my Alan Wake hard disk, gearing up to get back into the darkness action!
