It’s time to praise the sun, Souls fans! Bad ass covers for the first Dark Souls comic have been released for all of us to enjoy!

There’s a lot to be hyped about with Dark Souls III right around the corner, but Souls fans should also look forward to the Dark Souls comic series published by Titan Comics. Below are the recently revealed comic covers by Titan Comics that give readers a taste of what’s to come. Those out of the loop with the Souls series and those who are longtime fans will be able to dive right into the comic series, as it’s built from the ground up to tell a new engaging tale. A synopsis for the Dark Souls comic book series has been described as follows:

Welcome to the world of Dark Souls; a landscape bathed in arcane fantasy, where primordial forces govern the tides of time, bonfires flicker in the darkness, and the undead stalk the earth in search of impossible redemption. From Titan Comics and Doctor Who scribe, George Mann, comes this original tale of adventure and visceral horror that throws readers deep into the twisted myth of Namco-Bandai’s award-winning video-game franchise.

Covers A and B should be very familiar to Dark Souls 1 fans, as they use the Black Knight and Elite Knight art used for the original game. The other two comic cover variants are by artist Alan Quah, artist for the Godzilla and Orphan Black comic book series. Both of the incredible art covers created show dynamic views of a knights journey through a hellish world.

Anticipated Souls fans can look forward to picking up the Dark Souls #1 comic book on April 6th of this year! Do make sure to stay tuned to Junkie Monkeys for more Souls news including Dark Souls III and the Dark Souls comic book.
