E3 2016: Resident Evil VII Biohazard Revealed, Full PSVR Support

Finally! We return to horror! After heavy speculation of a new Resident Evil title being announced, the rumors are confirmed to be true! Resident Evil is back, and from what we can see – it is truly returning to its roots. Although, Resident Evil 7 might be taking a modernized approach. The entire E3 gameplay demo was shown off in first person. We also discovered that you can play this thing all the way through with the PlayStation VR headset. So we’re seeing a significant camera angle change from the previous titles, to now. Why is that? I’m betting all my money Hideo Kojima‘s Silent Hill demo – “P.T.“. P.T. redefined what the horror genre was for many players that attempted the bone-chilling mystery. We’re not sure if the full game will be in first person. I personally think the option to chose between the camera angles would be great. We’re sure the folks over at Capcom have been watching, and taking notes. This is Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. Check out the trailer below, and enjoy!

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard has no specific release time window as of yet. Hopefully we’ll be able to put ourselves through the heart-pounding experience soon. Stay tuned to Junkie Monkeys for more information regarding the Resident Evil franchise.
