Yesterday morning was the announcement of the long awaited Tekken 7 release date. Although it has been available in arcades, there have been many waiting for its console release and now we have it.
Mark your calendars for June 2nd because that’s when gamers can enter the King of the Iron Fist Tournament once again. Tekken 7 will have special digital editions for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One as well as a Collector’s edition.

The Collector’s Edition will contain a dynamic pose of Kazuya and Heihachi statue, a steel book, season pass and soundtrack.

The Digital Deluxe Edition will include Tekken 7 and the season pass.

A special Digital Xbox One Pre-order pack will include access to Eliza and a free copy of Tekken 6.

The Playstation 4 version of the game will have Exclusive content: legacy costumes from Tekken 4 and Tekken 2 for King, Xiaoyu and Jin. And a Jukebox Mode where fans can listen to classic Tekken tracks.

Tekken 7 releases on June 2nd for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC for the Americas.

Despite being released in June, Katsuhiro Harada has stated that their team tried to do everything they could do to make the early 2017 date happen, but did not want the game to have missing content or be broken on launch.

I can’t wait to see where the story takes us in the new game and I can’t wait to try out these new characters.
